A shop for every country
Segway-Ninebot makes kickscooters, e-scooters and accessories. Consumers across Europe buy them directly in the official Segway-Ninebot store, available in ten countries and most of them in two languages.
More than a catalogue
Every country has its own language, prices, shipping and legal texts. Scooters have to be traceable after the sale, and orders have to reach Segway's back office without anyone retyping them. And a webshop with this much traffic has to stay fast and secure, year after year.
One shop, nineteen store views
Since 2020 we have built and run the store on Magento, with a custom Segway theme. Each country has its own store view, in the local language and in English. Visitors land in the right country automatically and can switch country and language themselves.
Straight into SAP
Orders flow to Segway's SAP system automatically, and SAP sends its reference back to the order. Nobody has to copy anything between systems.

Built for selling scooters
Compare before you buy
Shoppers can put scooters side by side and compare range, speed, weight and more before they choose.
Tools for the shop team
Segway's own team manages banners, products and prices. They can mark products as Sale, Outlet or Pre-order, and visitors can sign up for an alert when a product is back in stock.
Product pages show the key specs at a glance, and any scooter can be added to a side-by-side comparison.

Secure, every month
We install every Magento security patch, keep PHP up to date and automatically scan all dependencies for known vulnerabilities. New risks show up in our Slack right away, so we can fix them before they become a problem.
Segway-Ninebot has one official European store that feels local in every country, sends orders straight to SAP and keeps track of every scooter it sells. Six years after launch, it is still up to date and secure.
