ZorgSelect, as an online job platform, operates the largest regional job board for healthcare and welfare in Eastern Netherlands. The vacancy platform was founded in 1995 by WGV Zorg en Welzijn. The association WGV has more than 100 member organisations. and the area of operation includes Twente, Achterhoek, IJssel-Vecht, and Stedendriehoek/Noordwest-Veluwe. In this part of The Netherlands, approximately 166,000 people work in healthcare and welfare.
From complex to user-friendly
With approximately 100 member organisations and regularly more than a 1000 open vacancies, ZorgSelect is the largest regional job platform in Eastern Netherlands. Yet, the company's job platform did not reflect this position well. The platform was very extensive and therefore cumbersome to maintain, it did not meet ZorgSelect's requirements in terms of ease to use.
ZorgSelect collaborated with our team to re-launch an fresh and user friendly job platform.

Quick and efficient recruitment
We kicked off the project with a reassessment of ZorgSelect's goal to enable users to recruit and select new candidates as effectively and quickly as possible. Additionally the platform encourages candidates to apply for the available healthcare vacancies. This is achieved through search filters, user friendly job and organisation pages.
Furthermore, candidates can easily maintain their profile thanks to a forms toolkit provided by us, ensuring them to better navigate through the application process.
In close collaboration with Zorgselect's teams we ensured that are stakeholders were involved in the development of the renewed platform.

The renewed platform enables employers to select the right candidates as efficiently as possible.
Automatic matching
An extensive matching mechanism provides automated matches between profiles of candidates and job vacancies based on candidates' details and the vacancies' requirements.
Encouraging job seekers through automatic mailing
Candidates are presented with a personalised list of job offers through automated mailing. Encouraging them to apply to those vacancies that fit them best.
Employers receive a list of candidates
Employers are sent automated featuring potential candidates who meet predefined criteria.
Easy approach
The combination of the collected data and the straightforward functionality guarantees a concise display of potential candidates. This enables employers to reach out to their preferred candidates with greater speed and efficiency.
The key to success
All stakeholders were involved while developing the renewed vacancy platform for ZorgSelect. That was the key to success, as there are multiple facets to the main challenge.
Our challenge lay in engineering a system that adheres to the most stringent standards, minimising the need for extensive future maintenance. Additionally, ensuring the system's seamless functionality and swift performance under high visitor volumes posed to another significant challenge. After all, no one, particularly the busy HR personnel in healthcare desires to contend with a sluggish system.
