Just Eat Takeaway runs Thuisbezorgd and food delivery platforms across Europe. Every new restaurant means more choice for customers and more orders, so signing up had to be quick and simple for both sides.

Paperwork slows you down
Signing up a restaurant means collecting a menu, ID, bank details and a Chamber of Commerce extract, and getting all of it into the CRM. Missing documents and typos lead to a lot of back-and-forth before a restaurant can go live.

Start in one step
El Niño built the restaurant signup portal and the API behind it. To begin, a restaurant owner only fills in their name, restaurant, email and phone number. That is enough to create a lead for the sales team right away.

Everything in one flow
Step by step, the owner adds address details, delivery areas with minimum order amounts and delivery costs, opening times and bank details. Menu, logo, ID, Chamber of Commerce extract and bank statement are uploaded with drag and drop.

Every new signup creates a lead in Just Eat Takeaway's Salesforce, and every update and uploaded document is added to it automatically. If Salesforce is down, the restaurant can still continue, and our developers get an alert right away.
