As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our development projects, working closely with the team to create high-quality software solutions. You’ll collaborate with team members, contribute to technical decisions, and continuously improve our tech stack.
- Develop and maintain web applications, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, testers and external stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver robust solutions
- Contribute to technical decisions that align with project goals
- Continuously improve our tech stack and development processes to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Assist team members in solving technical challenges and implementing enhancements
- HBO-level working and thinking ability, preferably supported by a degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong knowledge of and confidence in software development, equivalent to approximately 2/ 3 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles
- Proficiency in backend development frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel
- Very good understanding of the inner working of reactive frontend frameworks like Angular, React, and Vue
- Good knowledge of SQL and MySQL DBMSes. - Experience with timeseries databases like Influx or TimescaleDB is a plus
- Familiar with asynchronous and distributed systems, message queues, and web-service oriented architectures
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Proven track record of leading successful development projects and teams: ability to set roadmap and goals for a team and every one of its members, delegate intelligently, mentor engineers, deliver frequent and transparent feedback, help team members grow in their careers and deliver results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends
- Fluent in English. Dutch is a plus, but not required.
